Dear VLE, This is to remind you that as per a notification by Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), there is a mandatory migration of all the Public devices to Aadhaar Registered Device (RD) for using the Authentication services. All the older version of public devices will stop working from midnight today. Please note that the devices bought through CSC would be pre-activated, would require you to install the RD service & management software specific to your device. The installation/upgrade guide is also made available at https://digipay.csccloud.in  .  The VLEs can buy the Biometric Devices (UIDAI RD Service Compliant) from the Digital Seva Portal. For devices which have been brought through an OEM directly may contact the respective OEM for the upgrade and their device activation. CSC VLE Ms Padma from Singottam Village makes her village the first CSC Village in India to do Rs.3.2 Crore (Aadhar Enabled Payment System) disbursement to Villagers in 3 months. She has successfully disbursed payments for farmers (eNAM Payments), Pensioners and NREGA wage seekers. CSC officials visited the Singottam Gram Panchayat to participate in Rs.3 crore celebrations by the villagers. Today people of this village are saying “ their thumb is their ATM card now”. The District collector is also very supportive for payments disbursed through CSC DIGIPAY.Talking to Padma on this unique feet of achievement she very proudly states that she enjoys her work as a VLE and fulfills her inner desire to serve people, and at the same time earn a worthwhile living from it. She goes on to say she has earned a commission of Rs.35000/- in last 3 months by doing a work she likes.

Logo and Slogan Design Contest for Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan (PMGDISHA) Last Date-  May 29,2017 23:45 PM IST (GMT +5.30 Hrs) Govt. of India has approved 'Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan' (PMGDISHA). The main objective of the programme is to make Six Crore persons in rural areas, across States/UTs, digitally literate, reaching to around 40% of rural households by covering one member from every eligible household. The proposal seeks inputs to design a Logo and Slogan under the Scheme ‘Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan’. The last date of submission is  29th May, 2017 . VLEs can now view DigiMail and CSC ID on Registration Portal post Aadhaar authentication We are glad to announce that a new feature has been added on the Registration Portal which would enable you to view your  DigiMail  and  CSCId  post an Aadhaar authentication. In addition, this feature would also give you the option to reset your DigiMail password.  It would take around 24-48 hours to reset the same.  Please note, DigiMail and CSC Id’s have been created only for quality checked registrations/re-registrations.
